Knowing that building national standard schools is an important condition for improving the quality of education, in the past few years, Duy Tien district government and committees has mobilized more resources, actively deployed in the area. Therefore, the work of building the national standard schools always receive the attention and close guidance of the party committee, government at all levels, the support of the people. Currently, Duy Tien is the province's leading district in the formulation of national standard schools.

In the period of 2000 - 2004, science and technology of Ha Nam province continued to take the role of motivation to develop socioeconomic of the province. The scientific mission was deployed abreast of programs and projects of the work program of the Provincial Executive Committee, the Party Committee and the work program of the provincial People's Committee every year. Many research results in all fields has been applied to production and life, are maintained, replicated, bringing remarkably socioeconomic efficiency.
