Implement Resolution No. 04 of the Board of People’s Committee of Ha Nam province term XVIII “About developing industries in Ha Nam province by 2015”, Phu Ly city undertook to develop industries consisting with economic restructuring towards industrialization – modernization, to prioritize development on key industrial sectors, to have a competitive advantage, to produce exported products to generate large revenues to the budget and solve many jobs for employees consisted with the general planning of the province. The target in 2015 is that industrial production value at constant prices reached 5.600 billion; Industrial production value in period 2011- 2015 in the province increased over 20% / year; proportion of industry - construction in the economic structure reached 49% in 2015 in association with the goal of protection environment, sustainable development.
