Nguyen Khuyen (1835-1909), childhood name was Thang, also knowns as Mien Chi, branded Que Son, borned in his mother’s hometown, moved to his father’s hometown in Vi Ha village, also called Va village to live when he was 8 years old (now belong to Trung Luong commune, Binh Luc district, Ha Nam province)...

We found our way to Noi village (Bac Ly commune, Ly Nhan district) – a village of special Lai Len folk dance (La Le, Lai Le) in the season of grain, blooming lotus covering all ponds. In the story right at the door of the communal house in the village with great grandma Luu Thi Ngan, Khuong Thi Hai – the very few "Lai ladies" who used to be Lai Len folk dancers in the village’s festivals in the old days and are still alive. We somehow grasp and share the respect and pride of and regrets of the people here for the cultural assets inherited from the former generations.
